As a remote, fractional Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a critical role in driving top-of-funnel activity and helping the company reach more decision-makers at large electrical contracting firms. You’ll be representing a solution that directly addresses the pain points of procurement inefficiencies, inventory mismanagement, and disconnected field operations—problems that cost contractors millions annually.
What you’ll do:
- Prospect and engage key decision-makers (COOs, VPs/Directors of Operations, Procurement Managers, etc.) at commercial electrical subcontractors with $15M+ in annual revenue
- Educate prospects on the value of automating procurement, inventory, and field requisition processes
- Qualify leads based on criteria such as company size, operational complexity, and current pain points
- Book meetings for the Account Executive team with qualified prospects
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and lead status in CRM tools
What you’ll need to succeed:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales development, cold calling, and prospecting (construction tech or SaaS experience a plus)
- Familiarity with the construction, electrical contracting, or supply chain industries is highly desirable
- Ability to quickly understand and communicate the value of workflow automation and digital transformation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

- Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives using qualification criteria
- Utilize your active listening skills to understand and uncover customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate how the Client can solve them
- Develop strong sales and product knowledge
