This is a fractional SDR (Sales Development Representative) role. Compensation is commission-based per qualified meeting.
What you’ll do:
- Prospect and engage senior scientific and R&D leaders in enterprise organizations (titles like Chief Scientific Officer, VP of R&D, Head of Computational Chemistry, Director of Innovation, etc.)
- Educate prospects on the value of AI-powered quantum simulation for accelerating drug discovery, materials innovation, and environmental solutions
- Qualify leads and set up meetings for the company’s sales and technical teams
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine messaging and outreach strategies
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity
What you’ll need to succeed:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales development, prospecting, or lead generation (preferably in SaaS, scientific software, or technology sales)
- Familiarity with the R&D process in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, energy, or advanced manufacturing
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both scientific and business audiences
- Self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills and a passion for innovation
- Bonus: Experience selling to scientific personas or within the computational chemistry/materials science space

What you’ll do:
- Grow top of sales funnel through cold outbound campaigns
- Call into mobile-enriched leads who fit the target persona
- Pitch and qualify those leads
- Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives using qualification criteria
- Utilize your active listening skills to understand and uncover customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate how the Client can solve them
- Develop strong sales and product knowledge
