As a fractional Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a key role in generating top-of-funnel opportunities for a team of experienced advisors. You’ll be reaching out to owners and decision-makers at professional service-based businesses, educating them on the value of exit planning, business valuation, and strategic sale processes. Your efforts will help connect business owners with the right resources and buyers, ensuring smooth transitions that align with their personal and financial goals.
What you’ll do:
- Prospect and qualify leads among owners, presidents, partners, and C-level executives of professional service-based businesses
- Educate prospects on the benefits of exit planning, business valuation, and M&A advisory services
- Set up qualified meetings for the advisory team by identifying business owners who are considering a sale, succession, or strategic exit
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and lead status in CRM tools
- Collaborate with the advisory team to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness
What you’ll need to succeed:
- 3+ years of experience in sales development, cold calling, and B2B prospecting
- Familiarity with professional services, consulting, or financial advisory industries
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with business owners and executives
- Experience selling intangible or consultative services is a plus
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely

What you’ll do:
- Grow top of sales funnel through cold outbound campaigns

- Pitch and qualify those leads
- Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives using qualification criteria
- Utilize your active listening skills to understand and uncover customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate how the Client can solve them
- Develop strong sales and product knowledge
